The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has issued a “Cancellation of Result of NEET PG” notice mentioning 13 candidates from the 2025 session whose results have been cancelled. This cancellation of NEET PG result is mainly due to the use of unfair means used in the NBEMS examinations. NBEMS has also declared the issued scorecards for such candidates as ineligible for employment, registration, admissions, or higher education uses.

According to the result cancellation notice of NEET PG, the NBEMS Examination Ethics Committee found unfair means in the majority of the listed 2025 cases, which resulted in the cancellations of result. Furthermore, the NBEMS has warned against the use of invalidated NEET PG scorecards in any institutional process, including jobs and admissions. The notice also mentions one distinct 2025 cancellation based on the disposal of Writ Petition No. 5785 of 2025 by the Hon’ble Karnataka High Court as the basis, separate from the unfair-means findings in other entries.

Hello,

Usually, after the NEET PG exam date is announced, the gap between the announcement and the actual exam is about 4 to 8 weeks .

In most past years:

  • The exam notice comes 1–2 months before the exam.

  • Sometimes the gap can be shorter, around 3–4 weeks , if the schedule is tight.

  • It can also be longer in some years, but 1–2 months is the common pattern .

This timeline helps students finish revision and complete registration on time

Hope it helps !

Hello,

With a 79,000 NEET PG rank General category, getting MD Pathology through AIQ Round 1 in top government colleges is unlikely, as most close by 30,000–50,000 ranks.

You may still get a seat in later rounds, state quota, or private/DNB colleges. Fill a broad choice list and keep backup options ready.

Hi,

1) You can manage to get a clinical PG seat in Management (B-Category) with an AP Rank of 3635, particularly in the fields of Microbiology, Pathology, Psychiatry, Anesthesia, or Emergency Medicine. High-demand areas such as MD General Medicine, Pediatrics, Radiology, Dermatology, and OBG have very few ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌chances.

2) With BC - B (AU) region rank of 231, you have a decent chance for Anesthesiology, Psychiatry, ENT, Pathology in Government and Private colleges, but high-demand clinical may be slightly difficult.

Hope it helps!!!

In NEET PG 2024, the college with one of the lowest ranks for admission to MS General Surgery was King George’s Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow, where the closing rank went up to around 10,883. In comparison, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and PGIMER, New Delhi, had a closing rank near 479 for open category seats. The cutoff depends on the category and quota, so it may differ for each student.
