To appear for the NExT exam in 2025, candidates must fulfil specific eligibility requirements:
Phase 1: All students who are completing their MBBS programme in 2025 or earlier will be required to sit for Phase 1. They must have completed their MBBS course from a recognised medical college.
Phase 2: Students can appear for Phase 2 if they have completed their MBBS and passed Phase 1. Students who wish to pursue post-graduate studies will also be required to pass Phase 2 successfully.
Phase 3: Phase 3 will be specifically relevant for candidates who intend to continue their education in post-graduate medical fields. After successfully completing Phase 2 and being admitted to a post-graduate programme, candidates will take this phase to evaluate their readiness for specialisation.
