    AMU MBBS eligibility criteria 2026

    Only candidates fulfilling the NEET eligibility criteria are considered for AMU MBBS admission.

    • Nationality: Indian nationals, along with Non-Resident Indian (NRI)/ Person of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) candidates, are eligible for admission to AMU MBBS 2026.

    • Academic qualification: Candidates who are appearing or have passed class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks for the general category and 40% for SC/ST/OBC are eligible for AMU NEET admission.

    • Subjects studied: Students must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects in class 12.

    • Institutional quota: Candidates applying for AMU MBBS admission under 50% institutional quota must have passed the last three academic years from the date of admission as regular students from AMU.

    • Qualifying cutoff: Only students who qualify for the NEET exam 2026 are eligible for admission. Check the category-wise cutoff of NEET 2026 required for qualifying medical entrance below.

    During the AMU MBBS application form process, students have to enter their personal, academic, contact, and NEET 2026 details.     AMU MBBS admission 2026- Merit list

    After conducting the counselling, the authority conducts seat processing for AMU MBBS 2026 admission. The result of counselling is released in the form of an AMU MBBS merit list. The merit list or AMU MBBS 2026 seat allotment list mentions the quota and category of candidates, NEET rank, course and institute allotted, and other related information. Students included in the merit list of AMU MBBS 2026, need to report to the institute for reserving admission.

    AMU MBBS admission 2026 counselling

    DGHS conducts three rounds of AMU MBBS/BDS counselling on behalf of MCC. Qualified candidates who complete the registration are eligible to participate in NEET counselling. For AMU MBBS 2026 counselling, students need to register themselves at mcc.nic.in and submit their preferences for courses and colleges.

    Students should fill in the choices during AMU NEET counselling based on the seat matrix. Candidates can fill in as many choices as they wish to, during AMU MBBS counselling 2026. Based on the choices filled by students, reservation, NEET rank, and other factors, DGHS conduct AMU MBBS seat allotment. Candidates who are allotted seats during seat allotment must report to the respective institute for AMU MBBS 2026 admission.

    what is the 2025 closing rank in neet for St category and cut off marks

    The NEET qualifying cutoff for ST category was 143-113. For ST (PWD) , the cut off marks 2025 was 126-113. As you have not mentioned the closing rank for a particular college. Here, we have provided the college wise 2025 MBBS closing rank for ST category.
