    Age

    The candidate's age should be between 17 to 25 years. The date of birth should fall between October 1, 2001 and September 30, 2009.

    Educational qualification

    Candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent exam in FIRST ATTEMPT with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects.


    Candidates must have scored not less than 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam.


    Candidates must be a REGULAR STUDENT in class 12.

    Physical standards

    Candidates must meet the medical standards as set by the AFMS.


    The minimum required height is 152 cm.

    All shortlisted candidates are then required to appear for the psychological assessment and interview. The psychological assessment and interview is taken by the Board of Officers at Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt. Weightage is given for the achievement in sports at various levels and for dependents of Officers/ JCOs/ ORs/ who are serving/ ESM/ killed in action.

    AFMC BSc nursing screening: Medical examination

    All candidates have to undergo Special Medical Board (SMB) for the medical examination at Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt. The medical fitness of the candidates is checked because of specific training requirements, charter of duties and level of fitness desired for candidates to join MNS.
