    Only female candidates who are unmarried, divorced, legally separated or widow without encumbrances are eligible to apply.

    Entrance exam

    Candidates must have qualified the NEET UG examination.

    Age

    The candidate's age should be between 17 to 25 years. The date of birth should fall between October 1, 2001 and September 30, 2009.

    Educational qualification

    Candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent exam in FIRST ATTEMPT with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects.


    Candidates must have scored not less than 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam.


    Candidates must be a REGULAR STUDENT in class 12.

    Physical standards

    Candidates must meet the medical standards as set by the AFMS.


    The minimum required height is 152 cm.


    The minimum height required for candidates from hill and North Eastern States is 147 cm.

    Shortlisting of candidates for BSc nursing admission is done through the scores obtained in the NEET 2026 exam. The list of candidates shortlisted for the AFMC BSc nursing programme is displayed at the official website: joinindianarmy.nic.in.     AMFC BSc nursing admission screening: Psychological assessment and interview

    All shortlisted candidates are then required to appear for the psychological assessment and interview. The psychological assessment and interview is taken by the Board of Officers at Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt. Weightage is given for the achievement in sports at various levels and for dependents of Officers/ JCOs/ ORs/ who are serving/ ESM/ killed in action.

    AFMC BSc nursing screening: Medical examination

    All candidates have to undergo Special Medical Board (SMB) for the medical examination at Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt. The medical fitness of the candidates is checked because of specific training requirements, charter of duties and level of fitness desired for candidates to join MNS.

    AFMC BSc nursing 2026: Merit list and admission

    The authority publishes a AFMC BSc nursing merit list at the official website. Candidates who qualify in all the above tests are listed in the AFMC BSc nursing merit list 2026.

    Candidates are finally selected based on the following criteria:

    AMFC BSc nursing final selection score: NEET UG scores + ToGIGE scores + Psychological Assessment and Interview, subject to medical fitness

    All the candidates who are offered admission, have to submit a Bond to serve at the AFMS as Military Nursing Services (MNS). In case a candidate withdraws an offered seat, she has to pay bond money at a rate proportional to the duration of time she has been trained in the institution.
