    Number of Students Appearing in NEET 2026

    When more students appear in the NEET exam, competition increases, which can push the cutoff higher. Similarly, if less students appear in the exam, the competition slightly decreases reducing the cutoff.

    Difficulty Level of NEET 2026

    The difficulty level of the NEET exam plays a big role in deciding the cutoff. If the exam is tough, the cutoff usually goes down. If the exam is easy, the cutoff goes up. Since NEET 2026 was considered easy, the cutoff is expected to be on the higher side.
