Chandigarh MBBS merit list 2019 - Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH),Chandigarh, will be tentatively releasing the merit list of Chandigarh MBBS 2019 in the last week of June. Candidates whose name appear in the Chandigarh MBBS 2019 merit list will be invited to participate in the Chandigarh MBBS 2019 counselling and the seat allotment process for Chandigarh MBBS admission 2019. Chandigarh MBBS merit list 2019 will contain information like the name of the candidate, Roll number, NEET rank, NEET marks, percentile and date of birth of the candidate. The merit list of Chandigarh MBBS 2019 will be made in accordance with the NEET 2019 score and the corresponding rank. It will be available for all categories including the unreserved category. Candidates who have secured the minimum required percentile in NEET 2019 and have filled the Chandigarh MBBS application form 2019 will be eligible to be considered for Chandigarh MBBS 2019 merit list. Chandigarh MBBS merit list 2019 will be prepared on the basis of NEET scores and will feature the name of candidates in the decreasing order of their respective marks.

Merit list of Chandigarh MBBS 2019 will mention the state merit rank of a candidate.
Chandigarh MBBS 2019 will be published on the official website of GMCH.
Candidates whose name appear in Chandigarh MBBS merit list 2019 will be eligible to attend the various counselling sessions for Chandigarh MBBS admission 2019.
Final eligibility for admission against various categories will be determined after scrutiny of original documents at the time of counseling.
If there is a clash between the NEET score of two or more candidates then a tie-breaking criteria is used to pick a candidate. The tie breaking criteria has been listed below.
Firstly, candidates with a higher score in Biology in NEET will be given preference over other candidates.
If the tie remains, candidates with higher score in chemistry will be considered over others.
If the tie is not resolved even after applying the above criteria, the candidate with less number of incorrect answers in NEET will be given higher rank.
If all of the above criteria fails to break the tie then the candidate who is older in age will be considered.
