State CET Cell Maharashtra is the competent authority to conduct counselling for Maharashtra MBBS admission 2024. The authority has released the seat allotment of Maharashtra NEET stray vacancy round. Choice filling was done from October 25 to 27. Maharashtra MBBS admission 2024: Eligibility criteria

The following eligibility criteria must be met by candidates seeking MBBS admission in Maharashtra. Failure to meet the eligibility criteria will result in candidates not being admitted to Maharashtra MBBS 2024. Below you will find the Maharashtra NEET 2024 eligibility criteria.

Nationality: Indian nationals, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), NRI, and Outside Maharashtra Candidates are eligible for Maharashtra MBBS 2024 admission.

  • Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are eligible for Maharashtra MBBS/BDS admission 2024 in government, cooperation, government-aided, and private unaided colleges.
  • NRI aspirants are eligible for admission to only institutional quota, that is, 15% seats in private unaided colleges, in Maharashtra MBBS 2024.

Domicile: To apply for Maharashtra NEET admission 2024, candidates should be domiciled in Maharashtra state or stay in the state for a minimum of 10 years.

Age: Candidates must be a minimum of 17 years of age.

Educational Qualification: A student must complete their Class 12 from a school or institution located in Maharashtra for Maharashtra NEET UG admission. Reserved category students must score a minimum of 40% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English to qualify for class 12. UR candidates must score at least 50% in class 12 examinations.

NEET 2024 cutoff: The NEET UG scores will be used to grant Maharashtra MBBS/BDS 2024 admissions. Candidates will only be considered for admission to Maharashtra MBBS 2024 if they achieve the cutoff of NTA NEET 2024.

Maharashtra NEET merit list 2024

State CET Cell Maharashtra will publish a merit list of candidates eligible for Maharashtra MBBS 2024 admission based on the applications received, NEET 2024 scores, eligibility criteria, and document verification. The Maharashtra MBBS 2024 merit list contains names, gender, category, marks, region, NRI status, NEET 2024 marks, rank, and remarks. A state merit rank will be awarded to each candidate in the Maharashtra MBBS merit list. A selection process will be conducted for Maharashtra MBBS admissions in 2024, and only shortlisted candidates will be called for counselling.

Maharashtra NEET counselling 2024

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct counselling for Maharashtra NEET admission to 15% All India Quota seats in 2024. State CET Cell Maharashtra will conduct the Maharashtra NEET 2024 counselling process for 85% state quota seats. The Maharashtra NEET counselling will be conducted in four rounds, including a mop-up round. Students must choose the courses and colleges they wish to attend during Maharashtra NEET counselling in 2024.

The authority will release the seat allotment list of selected candidates after conducting the Maharashtra MBBS/BDS 2024 counselling. Among other factors, Maharashtra NEET 2024 admissions will be determined by available seats, choices made during counselling, NEET UG results, state merit rank, and reservation factors. Maharashtra MBBS admission was previously based on a 70:30 reservation criterion. 70% of the seats were reserved for regional quotas, while 30% were reserved for state quotas.
