How to prepare for NEET 2024 in 10 days?

Read the strategy to crack NEET and preparation tips within the last 10 days.

Tip 1: Analyse the NEET 2024 syllabus using NCERT books

With just 10 days left, candidates should get an idea of how much NEET exam syllabus they have covered. Candidates should focus on strengthening the topics they have already prepared for NEET 2024. To make their concepts from NEET chapters clear, candidates can refer to the NCERT books. Prof. Ravindra Kumar Kondamudi, NEET Dean, Sri Chaitanya says “Students need not go beyond the syllabus prescribed by NCERT board CBSE board. Most questions are also based on the syllabus and concept of NCERT textbook only.”

Go through the short notes in the best books of NEET 2024 quickly, which hold more weightage of questions in NEET. Keep the short topics and hold more weightage in the NEET exam 2024 on priority and revise them as soon as possible.

Tip 2: Plan a timetable to prepare for NEET 2024

Set a timetable for the last 10 days before NEET 2024. In NEET study time table, focus on theory revision, diagrams and charts revision, numerical practice, remaining syllabus to be covered, and mock tests. In an ideal NEET 2024 timetable preparation for 10 days, try to complete the remaining syllabus and revision in the first eight days. The timetable for the last two days before the NTA NEET exam should be light and candidates should relax. The timetable for NEET preparations 2024 in 10 days should be divided appropriately for revision, break and rest.

Tip 3: Revise NEET chapters in ten days

The key to cracking NEET 2024 is revision. It is often seen that NEET toppers revise their entire syllabus at least twice before the exam. Due to a lack of revision candidates can forget important facts, theories, and concepts in the NEET-UG exam. With just 10 days left, candidates should focus on smart revision of NEET 2024 syllabus. On a priority basis, candidates should revise NTA NEET important topics from each subject - Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Once candidates have completed the revision of NEET 2024 chapters carrying most weightage, less important topics should be revised.

Tip 4: Focus on revision of diagrams, tables, charts for NEET 2024 preparation

NEET Biology carries the highest weightage in the exam with 360 marks and includes a good number of diagrams and charts in the syllabus. NEET question paper often includes questions based on diagrams not just from Biology but from the other two sections (Physics and Chemistry) as well. Candidates must ensure to revise all the diagrams, tables, and charts from the NEET syllabus. Questions in the NEET exam based on diagrams are direct and scoring, thus candidates should revise well.

Tip 5: Take NEET mock tests 2024 in last 10 days before exam

Aspirants must have already practised enough NEET 2024 mock tests till now. Thus, it is advised to practice fewer NEET-UG mock tests in the last days of preparation. Candidates should practice questions from the last year's NEET question papers again, even if they have done them once. This will help candidates get familiar with the types of questions asked. Aspirants should also try and attempt NEET sample papers according to the strategy they would attempt in the exam. The NEET 2024 strategy should include which section to attempt first, how much time to devote to which section, which questions to attempt and more importantly which questions to leave.

Tip 6: Get NEET 2024 documents ready

Candidates are advised to prepare their NEET 2024 photo and other documents required latest by the last fifth day before the exam. Candidates should get multiple printouts of their NEET admit card and read all the instructions mentioned on it carefully. The admit card will include the details of the NEET exam centre. Check the complete address, location, how to reach, and time taken to reach the NEET 2024 exam centre. Candidates should also remember to paste their NEET passport-size photograph on the hall ticket. In addition to this, they will also have to paste their NEET 2024 postcard-size photo on the proforma attached to the admit card.

Check the list of documents to carry on the day of the NEET exam and keep everything ready 2-3 days before the exam. No carelessness should be observed as candidates who reach the exam centre either late or without the NEET 2024 admit card, photo ID, and proforma will not be allowed to sit in the test. Additionally, candidates who do not follow NEET 2024 dress code will not be permitted to enter the exam centre. Thus, candidates should ensure that they follow the NEET dress code and do not carry any of the banned items to the exam hall.
