Before filling the KSB NEET application form 2026, candidates must check their eligibility. The KSB NEET counselling eligibility criteria is as follows:
Candidates must be Citizens of India only.
Aspirants must have qualified the medical entrance exam with minimum NEET cutoff marks.
Only wards/widows/wives of Defence Personnel from Army, Navy & Air Force are eligible to apply.
The applicant should have completed 17 years of age on or before December 31 of the admission year.
Sons of serving personnel/ex-servicemen above 25 years of age are not eligible.
Married daughters who are not financially dependent on the defence personnel are not eligible.
Wards of civilians, civilian employees of Armed Forces Headquarters (AFHQ), Ministry of Defence (MoD), DRDO, Para Military Forces or CAPFs are not eligible.
This benefit is available only once to one eligible member of a family.
The KSB application form is released online on the official website. Eligible candidates must submit the registration form within the prescribed deadline. For KSB NEET MBBS counselling 2026 application form filling, candidates have to follow the below mentioned steps:

The following documents are to be uploaded in the KSB NEET 2026 counselling application form:
Self attested photocopy of the marks-sheet of Matriculation examination.
Self attested photocopy of the marks-sheet of class 12 or equivalent examination.
Self attested copy of NEET result.
Eligibility certificate will be duly signed by ZSB/RSB. For serving personnel in
priority V, VII, VIII & IX eligibility certificate to be signed only by CO/OC Unit/Record Office.
Self-attested photocopies of Education Entitlement Card, latest Pension Payment Order, Special/Liberalized family pension, Battle Casualty Certificate, Casualty Indicating Disability or documentary proof of Gallantry Award (copy of Gazette Notification and Part II Order), as applicable.
Passport size photograph.
The KSB NEET counselling 2026 merit list is prepared based on the priority categories as set by the authority and the candidate's NEET 2026 score. Candidates are first ranked within their respective priority category according to their NEET score. The KSB NEET merit list is published on the official website verification of applications and documents. During seat allotment, candidates belonging to Priority I are considered first. If seats remain vacant after accommodating all eligible candidates in Priority I, they are allotted to candidates in Priority II, followed by the subsequent priority categories until all available seats are filled.
The KSB NEET merit list is prepared on the basis of priority as set by the authority, which are as follows:
Priority-I: Widows/Wards of Defence personnel killed in action.
Priority-II: Wards of disabled in action and boarded out from service.
Priority-III: Widows/Wards of Defence personnel who died while in service with death attributable to military service.
Priority-IV: Wards of disabled in service and boarded out with disability attributable to military service.

The KSB NEET counselling 2026 process begins after the publication of the merit list. Candidates shortlisted for the KSB MBBS counselling 2026 are informed by the board, through email and telephone about the counselling schedule. Candidates who receive the counselling invitation are required to submit their willingness or unwillingness to participate in the KSB NEET counselling for MBBS within the prescribed deadline. The response should be sent through email, telephone, and post in the prescribed format issued by KSB.
On the scheduled KSB MBBS counselling date, candidates are required to appear with the necessary original documents for verification. Seats are allotted based on the candidate's priority category, NEET UG 2026 score and seat availability. The candidature of candidates who fail to appear for counselling on the specified date or do not submit their willingness/unwillingness within the stipulated time is cancelled. In such cases, the vacant seat is offered to the next eligible candidate in the KSB NEET merit list.
Candidates allotted seats in KSB NEET counselling are required to bring the following original documents with selfattested photocopy at the time of counseling along with four passport size photographs.

Candidates allotted an MBBS or BDS seat through KSB NEET counselling 2026 must report to the allotted college within the prescribed timeline. Failure to report within the stipulated period results in cancellation of the allotted seat. After completing the admission process, candidates admitted under the central pool quota are required to execute a bond with the Government of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, or the concerned State Government/Union Territory Administration, as applicable. Under the bond conditions, candidates must agree to serve the concerned government for the specified period after obtaining registration as a medical or dental graduate, in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations.
