The NEET 2024 has been conducted successfully on May 5. Just before the exam, reports claiming cheating and the use of unfair means in NEET UG 2204 emerged. In Bihar, 13 persons have been arrested till date including students and their families in connection with the NEET 2024 paper leak case, and the Economic Offences Unit (EOU) has taken the matter into its own hands. According to the reports, the people arrested provided the NEET UG 2024 question papers and answers to 35 medical aspirants before the exam.

According to media reports, a total of 13 people have been arrested in the case of leaking the NEET UG question paper to 35 students in Bihar. Earlier a video of a masked man was going viral where he can be seen saying that the NEET 2024 paper may have been leaked. Another post on social media platforms started circulating claiming that the NEET 2024 paper had been leaked.

NTA has released a press release regarding the NEET 2024 exam paper leak rumours. NTA in its press release has clearly stated that the NEET 2024 exam was concluded successfully and no such paper leak incidents have occurred. NTA on May 5 issued a public notice in which it mentioned that apart from one single exam centre, the NEET 2024 exam went smoothly. At the NEET exam centre of Sawai Madhopur, there was an incident where the wrong question papers got distributed and some candidates left with the question papers. According to the official confirmation from the authorities, the NTA has no plans to conduct NEET 2024 for over 24 lakh students. However, as per reports, the NEET UG 2024 will be re-conducted for around 120 students of an exam centre in BIhar.
There have been many incidents regarding the NEET exam paper leak in the past. Be it the year 2016, 2017 or 2021, claims were made that the NEET exam paper was leaked in these years. However, no proper evidence has come into effect regarding these NEET exam paper leak incidents.
