Candidates can then calculate their expected scores using the below-mentioned formula and the NEET official marking scheme
NEET scores= Number of correct answers X 4 - Number of incorrect responses X 1 |
To calculate the expected NEET score, candidates need to have a clear understanding of the marking scheme. The NEET 2024 marking scheme is as follows-
4 marks will be given for every correct response
1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response
No marks will be given for unanswered questions
No marks will be given for more than one response in a question
Once the answer key is released, candidates can use the NEET rank predictor tool by Careers360 to estimate their approximate rank based on their probable score. To use the rank predictor tool, medical aspirants need to enter their expected score out of the total score of 720.
