The Chemistry section in NEET 2026 was moderately difficult, with a mix of theoretical and numerical questions that was good to assess the student’s conceptual understanding and application.
In terms of section-wise distribution, Physical Chemistry was moderate with formula-based numericals requiring careful calculation, Organic Chemistry was concept-driven while Inorganic Chemistry remained largely NCERT-based but included fact-orientated questions.
According to the feedback, a good attempt was considered to be around 35 to 40 questions with high accuracy. Candidates also mentioned that organic chemistry felt slightly lengthy and required deeper understanding, whereas Physical Chemistry, though calculative, was manageable with the right approach.
