    The NTA has declared the result of NEET 2025 exam at neet.nta.nic.in. One of the most important credentials to check the result is the NEET password. Candidates are required to enter their NEET password while checking their result and downloading their NEET 2025 scorecard. However, many students are facing the problem of forgetting their NTA NEET password, and are unable to check their NEET result 2025.     What to do if I forgot my NEET password?

    In case candidates have forgotten their NEET password, there are some options available through which they can reset their password. The NEET password reset option is available in three major forms, which have been described below.

    NEET password reset using the security question

    Students who have forgotten their NEET application password can reset it by answering the security question they opted for while filling out the NEET application form. The steps to reset the forgotten NEET password using the security question are as follows:

    • Go to the official website, neet.nta.nic.in

    • Under the “Candidate activity” window, click on the NEET result 2025 link

    • A login window will open, click on “Forgot password?”

    • Under the options available for reset your password, click on “Using Security Question & its Answer you chose during Form filling.”

    • A window for NEET 2025 password reset will open

    • Enter the NEET application number, security question, security answer, and the captcha code

    • Click on the “Submit” button

    • The NEET password will be displayed, which can be used to download the NEET UG result 2025 and scorecard.

    NEET password forgot solution using a verification code

    Another option to reset the NEET password is through a verification code, which is sent to the registered mobile number and email ID. The steps to reset the forgotten NEET password using the verification code are as follows:

    • Go to the official website, neet.nta.nic.in

    • Under the “Candidate activity” window, click on the NEET UG 2025 result link

    • A login window will open, click on “Forgot password?”

    • Under the options available for resetting your password, click on “Using a verification code sent via text message (SMS) to your Registered Mobile No & Email Id.”

    • A window to reset the NEET password will open

    • Enter the NEET application number 2025, date of birth, and captcha code.

    • Click on the “Submit” button and enter the verification code that will be sent to the registered mobile number and email address

    • The NEET application password will be sent to the email address which can be used to download the NEET 2025 result.

    NEET 2025 forgot password solution using reset link

    If neither of the two steps provided above works, then students can use the NEET password reset link option. A reset link will be sent to the registered email address from where candidates can create a new password and use it for NEET candidate login. The steps to reset the forgotten NEET password using the reset link are as follows:

    • Go to the official website, neet.nta.nic.in

    • Under the “Candidate activity” window, click on the link for NEET result 2025

    • A login window will open, click on “Forgot password?”

    • Under the options available to reset your password, click on “Using a reset link sent via Email to your Registered Email address.”

    • A window for NEET password reset will open

    • Enter the NEET application number, date of birth, and the captcha code

    • Click on the “Submit” button

    • A link to reset the NEET password will be sent to the registered email address from where students can set a new password and use it to check their NEET 2025 result.
