NEET UG 2026 Security Measures: Zero Leak Policy

One of the most significant highlights of NEET UG 2026 is the implementation of a “Zero Leak Policy.” This policy aims to eliminate any possibility of question paper leaks or unauthorised access before the examination begins. The NTA has specifically clarified that all NEET 2026 question papers have safely reached their destinations, and there is no possibility of early access or leakage.

NTA has also clarified that any claims circulating on social media or messaging platforms regarding leaked papers are false and misleading. Some of the key points of this “Zero Leak Policy” are as follows -

    • Question papers of NEET UG 2026 are transported under high-security protocols

    • Confidential materials such as NEET 2026 question paper, OMR sheet, and other important things are tracked until they reach NEET exam centres

    • Multiple layers of monitoring to ensure end-to-end security

NEET 2026 Advanced Biometric Verification for Secure Identity Checks

Biometric verification is an important part of the NEET UG 2026 security system. It helps make sure that only genuine candidates are allowed to enter the exam hall, reducing the chances of impersonation or fraud.

NEET 2026 Biometric Verification Process and Key Features

For NEET UG 2026, candidates will go through fingerprint-based biometric verification before entering the exam centre. The candidate's fingerprint will be scanned at the entry point and will be matched with official NTA records. This mandatory identity verification for every candidate will make sure that only the registered candidates are appearing in the NEET UG exam.

    NEET 2026 Manual Verification

To handle technical issues, NTA has also arranged backup systems this time. If NEET 2026 biometric verification does not work due to reasons like device failure, network problems, unclear fingerprints, or medical conditions, candidates will still be allowed to enter.

In such cases, a manual verification will be done using valid ID proof. Candidates will need to submit a written undertaking at the NEET exam centre in the presence of the Centre Superintendent or Observer. This ensures that the process remains fair and consistent for everyone. NTA has also specified that candidates will not be interrupted during the exam time (2 PM to 5 PM) for any biometric checks.

    • Examination centres are being inspected before the exam for which district officials are assigned to monitor the process.

    • District administrations across India have conducted review meetings and inspections to ensure readiness of the exam day, for which police and administrative teams are also working together.

    • Live supervision will be done during the exam

NEET 2026 Examination Centre Security and Infrastructure

Security at NEET UG 2026 examination centres has been improved to manage the large number of candidates and maintain a well-controlled environment. Basic facilities like drinking water, clean sanitation, proper seating, and a reliable electricity supply have been arranged to ensure candidates do not face any inconvenience.

Along with this, systems are in place to manage crowds smoothly inside and outside the exam centres. Special attention has also been given to traffic and accessibility, with proper traffic control and parking arrangements to avoid congestion and help candidates reach on time.

NEET UG 2026 Security Measures: Strict Surveillance and Anti-Malpractice Steps

To stop cheating and keep the exam fair, NTA has put strong monitoring systems in place for NEET UG 2026. There will be continuous monitoring inside exam halls, along with the presence of invigilators and observers to keep a close watch on candidates.

Strict checking will be done before entry at the NEET exam centres to ensure that no banned items are taken inside. Candidates will not be allowed to carry any unauthorised materials into the exam hall. In addition, videography and proper documentation will be done at selected centres to maintain transparency and ensure that all rules are followed properly.
