    The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the re NEET 2026 result. Along with the result, the re NEET 2026 cutoff marks have also been released. The re NEET 2026 cutoff for General category is 715- 213, for SC/ST/ OBC category is 212- 177.

    What is the Re NEET 2026 Cutoff?

    The re NEET 2026 cutoff is the minimum score required for candidates to qualify for the counselling process. NTA releases the qualifying percentile and the corresponding score range with the declaration of the re NEET 2026 results. Candidates who secure marks equal to or above the re NEET cutoff 2026 become eligible to participate in the counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for the All India Quota and by the respective state counselling authorities for state quota admissions.

    Difference Between NEET Qualifying And Admission Cutoff

    Students often confuse the re NEET 2026 qualifying cutoff with the admission cutoff. The re NEET 2026 qualifying cutoff are the minimum marks required to become eligible for the counselling.     The re NEET cutoff varies every year depending upon several factors. The factors affecting the NEET 2026 cutoff are mentioned below.

    Difficulty Level of the NEET Question Paper

    The re NEET 2026 question paper was moderately difficult. This has pushed the cutoff slightly on the higher side. The toughness of the re NEET exam plays a major role in deciding the cutoff. If the paper is difficult, the cutoff usually decreases because fewer students score high marks.

    Total Number of Candidates Appeared in the Exam

    The number of students appeared for re NEET 2026 directly affects competition levels. A higher number of candidates increases competition for limited medical seats, which can raise the cutoff marks.

    Reservation Criteria

    Reservation policies for categories such as SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwD influence category-wise cutoff marks. Each category has different qualifying percentiles and therefore cutoff also vary between the categories.
