After the declaration of the NEET UG result, qualified candidates have to participate in the counselling process for admission to medical and dental colleges. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts NEET counselling for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, while the remaining 85% state quota admissions are conducted by the respective state counselling authorities.
Eligible candidates must complete the registration process, fill in their preferred colleges and courses, and lock their choices within the prescribed deadline. Seat allotment is carried out based on multiple factors, including the candidate's Re NEET rank, category, reservation policy, seat availability, and preferences filled during counselling. Candidates who receive a seat allotment must report to the allotted institute for document verification and payment of the admission fee within the stipulated time.
