The Re-NEET 2026 counselling process is expected to be more favourable for students in several states due to an increase in MBBS seats and a decline in the number of qualified candidates. According to the NMC MBBS Seat Matrix 2026, 9,911 new MBBS seats have been added across India. Based on the Re-NEET 2026 result, many states have reported fewer qualified candidates than last year. These factors are expected to influence the NEET 2026 state quota cutoff, government MBBS cutoff 2026, and NEET 2026 counselling trends.
In several states, government MBBS seats through NEET 2026 have increased. At the same time, the number of qualified candidates has declined in many states. Because of this, the NEET 2026 government college cutoff is expected to become easier in several states. Students with comparatively lower ranks may have better chances during the NEET 2026 state counselling process.
