    The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh conducts the UP NEET counselling 2025 for the 85% state quota seats and 100% private college seats for medical and dental programmes. As per the latest update, the authority has announced round 5 UP NEET counselling 2025 seat allotment result for BDS course. Candidates who have been granted seats in round 5 UP NEET counselling 2025 have to report at the institutes from December 17 to 20, 2025. A link to download round 5 result is provided below.

    The counselling is conducted in online mode based on candidates’ NEET UG 2025 scores, preferences, and eligibility. Through the UP NEET UG counselling 2025, around 6300 MBBS seats and 2250 BDS seats will be filled. Students must register for online counselling to be eligible for the UP NEET rank list 2025. Based on the UP NEET merit list of the registered students, the authority allocates seats.     Eligibility Criteria for UP NEET Counselling 2025

    To participate in the UP NEET UG Counselling 2025, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria set by the authority:

    1. NEET UG 2025 Qualification: Candidates must qualify for the NEET UG 2025 exam with the minimum required percentile. Students must have secured the NEET cutoff marks 2025

    2. Domicile Requirement: For 85% state quota seats, students must be domiciled in Uttar Pradesh. Those who have completed Class 10 and 12 from UP schools are not required to have a domicile certificate. Non-domicile candidates can apply for private college seats under the management quota.

    3. Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English from a recognised board with minimum marks. For the general category, the minimum marks are 50%, whereas it is 40% for the reserved category students.

    5. Age Limit: Students must be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2025. There is no upper age limit.

    6. Medical Fitness: A medical fitness certificate is mandatory at the time of admission.

    UP NEET Counselling 2025 Process

    The UP NEET UG Counselling 2025 is conducted online through the official website, upneet.gov.in. The following steps are involved in the online UP NEET state counselling 2025:

    • Go to the official website, upneet.gov.in.

    • Enter personal details, NEET UG 2025 roll number, and mobile number to create login credentials.

    • Pay the non-refundable registration fee and refundable security deposit via online payment modes (credit/debit card, net banking, or demand draft).

    Registration Fee

    • General category: Rs. 1,000

    • SC/ST/OBC category: Rs. 500

    Security Deposit

    - Government colleges: Rs. 30,000

    - Private medical colleges: Rs. 2,00,000

    • Upload scanned copies of required documents, such as NEET scorecard, Class 10 and 12 certificates, domicile certificate, and category certificate (if applicable).

    • Log in to the UP NEET 2025 counselling portal and fill and lock the colleges and course choices before the set deadline.

    • The authority then declares the seat allotment result based on the choices filled by students

    • Allotted students need to report to their respective colleges for physical verification of original documents.

    Documents Required for UP NEET Counselling 2025

    Candidates must present the following documents (original and photocopies) during the document verification.

    1. NEET UG 2025 admit card and scorecard

    2. Class 10 and 12 marksheets and certificates

    3. Domicile certificate (for state quota seats).

    4. Category certificate (OBC/SC/ST/EWS, if applicable).

    5. Medical fitness certificate

    6. Proof of Identity (Aadhar, PAN, Driving License, or Passport).

    7. Eight Passport-Size photographs (same as used in the NEET application form)

    UP NEET UG counselling 2025: Bond policy

    Students who are allotted a government medical/dental college through the UP NEET UG counselling must sign a compulsory government service bond. Also, students vacating seats after the final counselling round or before course completion may be debarred from the next academic session’s counselling.
