NEET eligibility criteria

Candidate must be at least 17 years old as of December 31st of the admission year. There is no upper age limit.
Candidates must have completed class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology subjects (along with English as a mandatory subject).
Minimum qualifying marks in class 12 for General category students is 50%.

About NEET UG examination

NEET UG is the single medical entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). In the exam, candidates are asked questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects. A total of 200 multiple choice questions are asked where candidates are required to answer 180 questions. Candidates must have an MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS pass certificate recognised by the Indian Medical Council Act 1956.
Candidates must have MBBS qualification registration (permanent or provisional) issued by MCI or SMC.
Candidates must have completed their one-year internship on or before the prescribed date.

About NEET PG exam

The NEET PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) in India. It serves as the gateway for admission to MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses in medical colleges across the country. In NEET PG exam, candidates are required to answer a total of 200 multiple choice questions in 3.5 hours. The exam is conducted in online mode. NEET PG evaluates candidates’ clinical and theoretical knowledge acquired during their MBBS studies.
