Every year, lakhs of NEET UG qualified candidates aim for a seat in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, or Homoeopathy (AYUSH) undergraduate courses. AACCC is a constituted body under the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, to conduct AYUSH UG counselling for All India Quota (AIQ) seats in BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, and BHMS courses, along with AIQ seats of B.Pharm (Ayurveda). However, state AYUSH counselling is conducted by state authorities independently for the state quota admission to the AYUSH courses.
