Every year, lakhs of NEET UG qualified candidates aim for a seat in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, or Homoeopathy (AYUSH) undergraduate courses. AACCC is a constituted body under the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, to conduct AYUSH UG counselling for All India Quota (AIQ) seats in BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, and BHMS courses, along with AIQ seats of B.Pharm (Ayurveda). However, state AYUSH counselling is conducted by state authorities independently for the state quota admission to the AYUSH courses.

Candidates who are shortlisted as per the AYUSH NEET merit list are eligible for the counselling rounds. AACCC stands for the Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee. AACCC is the constituted body under the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), Ministry of Ayush, Government of India. Along with the AIQ counselling for government colleges, AACCC conducts the counselling for other seats, which are mentioned below.

Candidates must know that the state AYUSH counselling authorities manage admissions to the 85% state quota seats in government and government-aided colleges within their own state and private college seats. AACCC is the central body that conducts AACCC UG counselling 2026. Candidates have to register separately on the AACCC portal and on their respective state's counselling portal if they want to be considered for the AIQ and state quota seats. Only candidates who have qualified NEET UG exam are eligible to register for AACCC UG counselling. Candidates have to register in online mode at the official website. Applicants are advised to use the same details as used for the NEET UG registration. For state AYUSH counselling, candidates have to provide the domicile certificate. The registration for AACCC counselling is completed after submitting all the relevant details, uploading required documents and paying the fees.
AACCC conducts counselling in four rounds, which are round 1, round 2, round 3, and a stray vacancy round. For all the rounds, the counselling process includes registration, choice filling and locking, seat allotment processing, seat allotment, and physical reporting to the allotted college with original documents. The state AYUSH counselling process is the same as the AACCC counselling.

Deemed Universities: Candidates must note that the UG seats at the deemed universities are domicile-free and unreserved, except that some of the institutes reserve seats specifically for Jain Minority, Muslim Minority, or similar categories.

For AACCC counselling, candidates have the option for a free exit after Round 1. However, the security deposit is forfeited if a candidate does not join an allotted seat in Round 3 or the Stray Vacancy Round, does not join an upgraded seat, or withdraws after specified deadlines.
