Once candidates have downloaded the Aakash NEET answer key 2026, they can calculate their expected marks using the official NEET 2026 marking scheme. The NEET marking scheme 2026 is as following -
Total correct answers × 4 = X
Total incorrect answers × 1 = Y
Total marks = X - Y
Let total correct answers = 150, so X is equal to 150 × 4 = 600
Let total Incorrect answers = 10, so Y is equal to 10 × 1 = 10
Total estimated score = X - Y, which is 600 - 10 = 590 marks
