Admission to BSc Nursing courses in Haryana will be granted through NEET UG. In an official notice, the Director General Medical Education and Research, Haryana has announced that NEET UG will be mandatory for admission to BSc Nursing courses from the academic year 2026-27. Candidates wishing to take admission in Haryana BSc Nursing need to appear in the NEET 2026 entrance exam.

Yes, NEET UG will be required for admission to Haryana BSc Nursing admission from the academic year 2026-27. Along with BSc Nursing, Paramedical and Physiotherapy courses will also be granted through NEET 2026. The authority has mandated that Haryana BSc Nursing admission will be given based on NEET scores. To appear in NEET 2026, eligible candidates will be required to submit the application of NEET UG within the specified dates.
To apply for NEET 2026, candidates have to meet the eligibility criteria requirements as specified by the NTA. These NEET eligibility criteria guidelines can be checked here.
Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects.
Aspirants must have a minimum pass percentage of 50% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination for general category candidates and 40% for reserved category.
A candidate should be 17 years old as of December 31 of the year of admission.
Candidates must appear and qualify the NEET by securing minimum NEET cutoff marks.
With the inclusion of NEET entrance exam, candidates seeking admission in Haryana BSc Nursing need to complete the NEET registration and submit the application form within the specified dates. Upon the successful NEET registration, the authority issues the NEET admit card to the registered candidates. Aspirants will have to appear in the NEET 2026, which is scheduled for May 3, 2026. Soon after the exam, the NTA releases the NEET results and candidates who qualify the entrance test will be called for the counselling process.
To secure a seat, candidates will be required to qualify the NEET entrance exam with the minimum cut off marks. It is important for candidates to secure at least equal or above NEET cut off marks to be eligible for the counselling process. The cutoff percentile of NEET 2026 can be checked in the table below.
