Once candidates have understood the marking scheme, they must follow the below instructions to calculate their probable re NEET 2026 marks.
Step 1: Download The Official Re NEET 2026 Answer Key
The re NEET 2026 official answer key is released at the official website: neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates must download the re NEET answer key PDF for their corresponding question paper code.
Step 2: Compare Your Responses
In the next step, students have to match the answers marked in the re NEET 2026 response sheet from the official answer key.
Step 3: Count The Correct And Incorrect Responses
After comparing the answers, aspirants have to calculate the total number of correct and incorrect responses. Candidates must note that questions left unanswered do not carry marks nor any mark is deducted for the same.

Re NEET 2026 Score = (Number of Correct Answers × 4) − (Number of Incorrect Answers × 1)

Correct Answers = 160
Incorrect Answers = 15
Unattempted Questions = 5
The score calculation will be:
Correct answer marks = 160 × 4 = 640
Negative marks = 15 × 1 = 15
Estimated Re NEET 2026 score will be 640 − 15 = 625 marks
Sometimes, NTA may identify one or more questions with errors. In such cases, the authority awards re NEET 2026 bonus marks. Candidates should include the re NEET 2026 bonus marks while calculating their expected scores. In the above example, the estimated Re NEET 2026 score was 625 marks. If one question is dropped by the authorities, 4 bonus marks would be awarded to all candidates. In that case, the final estimated score would be:
