    Are the NEET admit card and city intimation slip the same?

    No, the NEET admit card and the city intimation slip are not the same. The city intimation slip is issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA) that informs candidates about the city where their NEET exam centre will be located. It helps candidates plan their travel in advance but does not grant entry into the exam hall. In contrast, the NEET admit card is the official document that allows a candidate to appear for the exam. It includes detailed information such as the exact address of the exam centre, roll number, exam timing, candidate’s photograph, and important instructions. Only the admit card, along with a valid photo ID, is accepted for entry into the exam hall. Therefore, while both documents are important, the NEET admit card 2025 is mandatory for appearing in the exam, whereas the city intimation slip is only for reference.
