    Is handkerchief allowed in NEET? The answer is no. Handkerchief will not be allowed in the Re NEET UG 2026. Due to strict NEET exam guidelines, candidates will not be able to carry their personal items to the exam hall. Only NEET documents like admit card, photographs and a valid proof can be taken inside the exam centre. The NTA has strictly prohibited personal items to prevent unfair means and cheating in the NEET exam.

    Is Handkerchief Allowed in Re NEET?

    No, handkerchief is not allowed inside the NEET exam centre 2026. As per the NEET exam day guidelines, no personal belongings shall be allowed inside the exam centre. In case, a student is found using such means, it will be treated as an unfair means case and which can lead to cancellation in current exam or disqualification in future NEET exams.

    is Handkerchief Allowed in NEET: Strictly Prohibited Items

    The strictly prohibited times in NEET have been clearly mentioned by NTA in the information bulletin. Security officials at the entry gate restrict candidates from using handkerchiefs inside the exam centre. As a part of barred items policy, no student is allowed to take any restricted item to the exam centre. Some of the barred or prohibited items inside the NEET 2026 exam centre are:

    Stationary items: According to strict NTA NEET guidelines, geometry box, pencil, calculator, pen, scale, writing pad, pen drive, and erasers are not permitted inside the NEET test centre.

    Electronics and communication devices: Mobile phones, bluetooth, earphones, pagers are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.

    Accessories: Watches, wallets, handbags, belts, caps, and ornaments will not be allowed inside the examination hall.

    Eatables: Any food item whether packed or unpacked cannot be taken inside the test centre as a part of barred item policy by NTA.
