Telangana MBBS Admission 2019 - Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) is the conducting authority for Telangana MBBS/BDS 2019 admissions. Candidates who will fulfill certain eligibility criteria set by the state will be allowed for admission to Telangana MBBS 2019. It is also mandatory for applicants to qualify National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for admissions to 3,151 MBBS and 1,125 BDS seats offered by the government and private colleges under 85% state quota seats. While the remaining 15% seats from all government medical colleges will be reserved for All India Quota students, which will be filled by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) based on NEET UG scores.

Before applying for Telangana MBBS admission 2019, aspirants must read the eligibility conditions to check whether they are eligible or not. Go through the basic Telangana MBBS eligibility criteria 2019 below.
A candidate should be an Indian citizen or Person of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) card holder and should satisfy the local or non-local status in Telangana.
One must be a local or non-local candidate of Telangana
Local Candidate - Such aspirants will be eligible for 85% state quota seats and 15% All India Quota seats as well. He/she must fulfill the following conditions.
Students who have studied/resided in a local area for a period of not less than four years and the last year should be of passing Class 12 examination.
If the candidate has studied in the two or more local areas for seven consecutive years and the last year of qualifying Class 12, then the area in which he/she had stayed the most number of years will be considered.
If an applicant had stayed equal number of years out of the seven consecutive years, then the last stayed area will be considered.
Non Local Candidate - There will be 15% seats available for non-local students. These seats are unreserved therefore local area candidates can also take admission. It is mandatory for aspirant to be a resident of Telangana for a period of 10 years.
Candidates should have passed their Class 12 examination or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English to be eligible for Telangana MBBS admission 2019.
It is important for unreserved category to secure 50% in Class 12 or equivalent exam, while reserved category students must have obtained 40% taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology or English.
Aspirants must be born between May 7, 1994 to January 1, 2003 to be eligible for Telangana MBBS admission 2019.

The application form of Telangana MBBS application form 2019 will be available in the third week of June. At the end of registrations, the application fee of Rs. 3000 for candidates belonging to general and backward class, whereas, Rs. 2500 for SC/ST candidates must be paid. The application fee can be paid in online mode using credit/debit cards and net banking.

The provisional merit list of Telangana MBBS 2019 will be released in the last week of June. Only the registered aspirants will be included in the Telangana MBBS/BDS 2019 merit list. After the release of provisional merit list, aspirants need to report at the venue for document verification.
Only students whose verification will be done successfully will be included in the final state merit list. It is mandatory for aspirants to qualify NEET 2019 entrance exam by securing the minimum qualifying percentile. The final Telangana MBBS merit list 2019 will display names of candidate, NEET roll number, state merit rank, category, local or non-local status of aspirants. Inclusion in the state merit list will permit them to appear for online counselling.
KNRUHS will conduct two rounds of Telangana MBBS/BDS 2019 counselling for admission to medical and dental colleges in the state. Candidates included in the state merit list will be eligible to participate for counselling procedure. While registering for Telangana MBBS counselling 2019 process, students need to enter their choices of colleges and courses, in which they want to get admission into. Based on the choices filled, Telangana MBBS rank and seats available in a particular course, the admission of Telangana MBBS 2019 will be granted.
The first round of counselling of Telangana MBBS 2019 will begin in the second week of July. Candidates who will be allotted seats must report at the respective colleges for document verification and completion of admission process. The authority will conduct the second round of counselling in the last week of July 2019 to fill the remaining vacant seats left.
