Telangana MBBS Admission 2017: Admissions to MBBS and BDS programmes in central, government, private and deemed institutions in Telangana will begin from July 9, 2017. This was declared via a notification issued on July 7, 2017. Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal, will be the Counselling Conducting Authority for admissions to 100% state quota seats in government medical/dental colleges of Telangana. Admissions in Telangana MBBS will be done on the basis of candidate’s score in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2017. This implies that desirous candidates seeking admission to Telangana MBBS and BDS programmes 2017 should have mandatorily appeared for NEET 2017. Failing to do so, candidates will not be considered for admissions under any circumstances. According to Supreme Court of India’s order, NEET has been declared as a single entrance examination for admissions to all medical and dental courses in the country, including NRI and management quota seats. Aspirants must have passed 12th standard exams/HSC examination in English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology
General category students must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology, while candidates belonging to SC/ST and Other Backward classes (OBC) should score at least 40% marks in 10+2/HSC/
Candidates must have completed a minimum of 17 years of age as or on December 31, 2017

The examination fee will be paid either via Telangana Online/TS Online/E-seva/Mee seva or Credit Card/Debit Card. Application date submission should be completed by 5 pm on July 18, 2017.
Applicants who will not fill Telangana MBBS 2017 application form will not be eligible for admissions to colleges situated in Telangana

KNR University of Health Sciences, Warangal, the counselling conducting authority of Telangana MBBS 2017, will release a provisional merit list for admissions to 100% MBBS and BDS seats located in the state on July 20. A final merit list will be issued after that once the certificates of all candidates who are in the provisional merit list is verified. You must also note that 15% all India quota seats is not reserved in government medical institutes of Telangana, as the state does not participate in the central pool. The merit list will be released on the basis of marks scored in NEET 2017 by candidates. The merit list will include name of the candidate, All India Rank of the student, NEET 2017 rank, date of birth, NEET 2017 roll number, etc.
The Council Conducting authority, KNR University of Health Sciences, Warangal, will begin with counselling process from after July 20, 2017 tentatively. The counselling will be held in online mode comprising of number of steps such as registration, option entry and certificate verification etc. The merit list released will grant admissions to 100% MBBS and BDS seats located in the state. This must be remembered that 15% all India quota seats are not reserved in government medical colleges of Telangana, as the state does not participate in the central pool.
