KNRUHS Warangal earlier released the list of candidates who appeared for NEET 2018 and have completed Class 12 from Telangana on June 16, 2018. The authorities will publish the provisional Telangana MBBS merit list 2018 once all the applications are received, and the same will give information about the candidates who are eligible to attend the Telangana MBBS counselling 2018. From this year onwards, the authorised body will only be conducting the counselling process for 85% State Quota seats, because Telangana state has agreed to participate in the counselling process for All India 15% Quota seats for which the counselling will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

Telangana NEET 2018 Notification for Convenor Quota/Competent Authority Quota Seats

 

On June 20, 2018, KNRUHS Warangal released the official notice specifying details for admissions into Competent Authority/Convenor Quota seats "in Government Medical/Dental Colleges (after exclusion of 15% seats of All India Quota) and Category ‘A’ seats - 50% of Intake in Private Un-aided Non-Minority and Minority Medical college and private Non-Minority Dental College and Army Dental College".

Telangana NEET 2018 admission notice issued on June 16, 2018

Telangana MBBS BDS Eligibility Criteria 2018

  • The candidate should be an Indian National/Person of India Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) card holder.

  • The candidate should be a local/non-local resident for Telangana MBBS admission.

    A. Local candidate – There will be 85% seats out of the total number of seats reserved for a local aspirant. The candidate can attain the local status if he/she fulfils one of the below mentioned criteria-

    1. The candidate who has studied/resided in a local area for a period of not less than four years wherein the last year should be the year of taking the qualifying examination.

    2. If the candidate has studied/resided in the two or more local years for seven consecutive years and the last year should be the year of appearing in the qualifying examination then the area in which he/she has stayed the maximum number of years will be considered.

    3. If the candidate has studied/resided in two areas for the equal number of years out of the seven consecutive years then the area in which he/she has stayed last will be considered.

    B. Non-Local candidate – There will be 15% seats available for non-local aspirants. These seats are unreserved so candidates having local status can also take admission. The mandatory requirement to show non-local status is the candidate should be a resident of Telangana state for a period of 10 years.

  • The candidate should have passed Class 12 or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English to be eligible for Telangana MBBS 2018 admission.

  • The candidate belonging to Unreserved category must obtain at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology.

  • The candidate belonging to BC/SC/ST category must obtain at least 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology.

  • The candidate belonging to Person with disability (OC) category must obtain at least 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology.

  • The candidate must be born between May 7, 1993 to January 1, 2002 to be eligible for Telangana MBBS admission 2018.

  • The candidates should at least score the cutoff marks in NEET 2018 to be eligible for Telangana MBBS 2018 admission.

 

Telangana MBBS BDS Admission Form 2018

Telangana MBBS 2018 application form for Competent Authority Quota seats has been released on June 21, 2018 following the release of notification of Telangana MBBS admission 2018 on June 20. The candidates will have one week to fill Telangana MBBS application form 2018 with the last date to fill the application form being June 26, 2018. The application form for Category B and other seats is expected to be released shortly. Telangana MBBS 2018 application form has been released in online mode. The candidates will be required to fill their academic and personal details. Only those candidates who will fill the Telangana MBBS application form 2018 will be eligible for Telangana MBBS admission 2018. The details submitted by the candidates in the application form should be correct since these details will be checked at the time of document verification session. The registration and verification fee is INR 3,000/- for unreserved category and backward category candidates and INR 2,500/- for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category candidates.

Telangana MBBS BDS Admission 2018 -  Document Verification

To be considered for Telangana MBBS admission 2018, the candidates must verify the mandatory documents along with the copy of Telangana MBBS application form 2018. The mandatory documents required for Telangana MBBS admission 2018 are given below-

  • NEET 2018 admit card

  • NEET 2018 scorecard

  • Class 10 pass certificate as a proof of date of birth

  • Class 12 mark sheet

  • Transfer Certificate signed by the head of the Institute last attended

  • Pass certificate from Class 6 to Class 12

  • Permanent caste certificate, if necessary

  • Aadhar Card

  • Minority certificate, if applicable

  • 10 year of resident certificate for those who have studied outside the state of Telangana

  • Income certificate applicable to those claiming fee exemption

  • Affidavit of INR 100 by the parents and candidates stating that the caste and area certificates submitted are original and if found conflicting then they will be responsible for the consequences

  • Local status certificate

  • Candidates claiming reservation under any special category shall submit the respective documents in support of their claim 

Telangana MBBS BDS Merit List 2018

The authorities have released the list of all candidates who have qualified for NEET 2018 after completing Class 12 from Telangana on June 16, 2018. The provisional Telangana MBBS merit list 2018 will be released after applications are invited from candidates. For Category A seats, the applications will be invited till June 26, 2018. The Telangana MBBS 2018 final merit list will be published after the candidates have verified their documents. The candidates who are included in the final Telangana MBBS merit list 2018 will be eligible for Telangana MBBS counselling 2018. The final Telangana MBBS merit list 2018 will be published most likely in the last week of June 2018. Telangana MBBS 2018 merit list will give information about the state merit rank assigned on the basis of NEET 2018 rank.

Telangana MBBS BDS Counselling 2018

The first round of Telangana MBBS counselling 2018 will most probably be conducted sometime between June 25, 2018 to July 5, 2018. Telangana MBBS 2018 counselling will be conducted in online mode which means that the candidates have to submit their options on the online web portal for Telangana MBBS admission 2018. The counselling process comprises registration, option entry, details submission and option locking. There will be three rounds of Telangana MBBS counselling 2018 including a mop-up round of counselling.
