Rajasthan MBBS Admission 2018 – Office of the Chairman, NEET UG Medical and Dental Admission/Counselling Board and Principal & Controller, SMS Medical College & Attached Hospitals, Jaipur conducts Rajasthan MBBS 2018 admission. The second round of counselling has started on August 10 and will be conducted till August 12. Candidates are required to report as per their state merit rank. The application forms for the second round of counselling was available from July 15 to July 19, 2018. The state merit list of Rajasthan MBBS 2018 for round one was published on June 28, 2018 in online mode. The process of admission to Rajasthan MBBS 2018 started on June 18, 2018. Candidates were required to fill in the application form of Rajasthan MBBS 2018 for round one in order to be eligible for the process of admission.

Counselling for Rajasthan MBBS 2018 admission is also starting with the release of the online application form with June 27 the last date to submit choices. Rajasthan MBBS BDS Counselling 2018

The second round of Rajasthan MBBS BDS counselling has started on August 10. The round two of counselling will be conducted in offline mode which implies that the candidates will be required to report at the allotted centre. The round one of counselling for Rajasthan MBBS BDS 2018 began along with the registration process. The candidates could submit the preferences while filling the application form. The result of the indicative seat allotment was released on June 24, 2018. Rajasthan MBBS BDS 2018 counselling for round one was conducted in online mode. The last date to submit preferences was June 28, 2018. The result of the first round of counselling has been released on July 5, 2018.

 

Rajasthan MBBS BDS Merit List 2018

The merit list of Rajasthan MBBS BDS 2018 for round two has been issued on July 24 in online mode. The Rajasthan MBBS BDS 2018 merit list for round one was released on June 28, 2018. Candidates who secured the minimum required percentile in the NEET UG examination and completed the process of filling up the application form of Rajasthan MBBS 2018 are included in the state merit list. All the candidates whose names appeared in the Rajasthan MBBS BDS merit list 2018 were considered for the further admission process. The Rajasthan MBBS BDS 2018 merit list contains the names, NEET roll number, NEET score, and the state rank of the candidates.

Rajasthan MBBS BDS Application Form 2018

The authorities released the Rajasthan MBBS 2018 application form for the second round of counselling on July 15, 2018. The mode of release of application form for Rajasthan MBBS BDS admission 2018 was online. The last date to apply for Rajasthan MBBS BDS 2018 admission was July 19, 2018. The application form for the round one of counselling was made available from June 18 to June 27, 2018. The application fees for Rajasthan MBBS BDS 2018 is INR 2,000 for unreserved category candidates and INR 1,200 for candidates belonging to SC/ST/ST-STA categories. Candidates belonging to the physically handicapped and defense categories will then be required to appear for the document verification session of Rajasthan MBBS BDS admission 2018.  

 

Rajasthan MBBS BDS Admission 2018 – Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates seeking admission to Rajasthan MBBS BDS 2018 must be citizens of India.

  • Candidates must be 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2018, in order to be eligible for Rajasthan MBBS BDS admission 2018.

  • The candidates must not be more than 25 years in age as on May 7, 2018.

  • The candidate's either one of the parent must have resided in the state for at least 10 years and the candidate must have studied in the state for a minimum period of five years.

  • If the candidate does not fulfil the above-mentioned criteria then s/he should be a bonafide resident of the state.
  • Candidates must have also passed in the above-mentioned subjects individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks aggregate (unreserved) in them at the qualifying examination. Physically Handicapped (PH) reserved category candidates are required to obtain an aggregate of 40% in the given subjects, while the Unreserved PH candidates would have to obtain an aggregate of 45% in the same to be eligible for Rajasthan MBBS BDS 2018 admission.

  • Candidates must have obtained the required minimum percentile in the NEET 2018 UG examination.

Rajasthan MBBS BDS Seat Reservation 2018

The state quota seats for Rajasthan MBBS BDS 2018 have been reserved for various categories. 21% of seats have been reserved for the candidates belonging to the non-creamy layer of other backward classes, 16% of seats are reserved for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, and 12% for candidates from the Scheduled Tribes. 1% of seats are reserved for candidates who are wards of defence personnel. There is a horizontal reservation of 5% for the physically handicapped and 25%  for girls across each category.
