The authority has declared the seat allotment result of the stray vacancy round on November 2, 2024. Candidates allotted seats as per the allotment result need to appear for document verification from November 3 to 5, and confirm their admission. Based on the applications, the CENTAC, Puducherry released the state merit list along with the seat matrix and fee structure. Puducherry NEET 2024 admissions are conducted for admission in MBBS and BDS courses in the Union Territory. Only candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the UT counselling authority will be considered for Puducherry MBBS 2024 admission.
During the counselling session, candidates have to fill in their choice of course and colleges. Based on the scores obtained by candidates in the NEET UG exam, choices filled by them and seat reservation, the Puducherry admission to 578 MBBS and 234 BDS seats offered by medical and dental colleges under 85% state quota seats. Aspirants seeking to take Puducherry NEET 2024 admission have to fulfil the conditions of eligibility. The Puducherry NEET eligibility criteria are as follows.
Candidates must have passed the H.Sc. (Academic) examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination of the state or any other equivalent exam.
Aspirants have to qualify for the aforementioned exam with a minimum of 50% marks (40% of marks for OBC/BCM/MBC/EBC/BT/SC/ST candidates) in aggregate, in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Biotechnology, Botany, and Zoology. They must have passed each subject individually.
Aspirants should also have studied English as one of the subjects.
The applicant must be an Indian national.
Non-Resident Indian (NRI) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) / Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) are also eligible
Candidates should be at least 17 years old at the time of admission.
Aspirants must have qualified NEET UG 2024.
1. They must be residents of the UT of Puducherry and belong to respective minorities
For PIMS: Candidates must be from a Christian religious minority category
For SVMC&RI: Candidates who belong to Telugu linguistic minority are eligible.
2. Candidates should produce any valid documentary proof like Transfer Certificate or similar document to prove their Puducherry NEET 2024 eligibility under the minority quota.
Candidates who have qualified in NEET 2024 can apply for management seats. There is no restriction like domicile or residence criteria. So, candidates from other states can also apply for the management quota if they wish to.
CENTAC released the NEET application form in online mode for all eligible aspirants. Candidates were able to register and enter personal, academic, NEET 2024 details and contact details. Thereafter, they must upload scanned images of their coloured photograph between 20 to 25 KB in JPG format only. Before submitting the form, they need to pay the application CENTAC Puducherry MBBS fees given below.

The authorities release the merit list for Puducherry NEET 2024 admission for different Quotas. The criteria for preparing the Merit List for Puducherry NEET admission 2024 is prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the NEET-UG. The counselling conducting authorities, CENTAC may publish the Puducherry NEET 2024 merit list as a Draft giving the candidates one or two days’ time to raise objections, if any. Authorities will conduct the Puducherry NEET 2024 counselling in an online mode. Aspirants who pay the application fee within the due dates will be allowed to fill out their choice of courses and colleges during the Puducherry NEET counselling.
