The authority had released the revised schedule for round 2 of Tripura MBBS admission on July 18, 2019. Refer the table below for important dates. The authority had earlier posted a notification announcing extension of the counselling schedule for round 2. Due to a revision in the schedule of NEET UG counselling the extension is being done. The authority had released the counselling schedule for round 2 on July 13. The application process will start on July 15. The result of the first round of Tripura MBBS counselling has been released on July 5. A link to check the seat allotment list has been provided below. The authority has released a notification for the non-domicile candidates seeking admission in 20 designated MBBS seats in Tripura MBBS admissions. Physical document verification for such candidates was done on July 4 and 5 before "issue of the nomination" at the office of the Directorate of Medical Education, 2nd Floor Bidurkarta Chowmuhani, Agartala from 11:30 AM to 4: 30 PM. The authority had also released a revised seat matrix for the first round of counselling Tripura MBBS admission. A link to check the seat matrix has been provided on this page. The authority has also released state merit for Tripura MBBS 2019 admissions. Candidates qualifying the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) entrance exam will be granted admission to around 168 MBBS and 7 BDS seats and be eligible for admission to government and private medical and dental colleges of Tripura. Only aspirants who will fulfil the set eligibility criteria can register themselves for Tripura MBBS admission 2019 under 85% state quota seats. While, from all other government medical colleges, 15% of the total seats will be reserved for All India Quota candidates. These seats will be filled by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on the basis of rank obtained inNEET UG exam. The authority has also released the seat matrix for the upcoming academic year.

DME, Tripura has published the merit list of Tripura MBBS/BDS 2019 based on the marks scored in NEET 2019. The state merit list contains Tripura MBBS state rank, NEET registration number, date of birth (as mentioned in NEET 2019 application form), category and All India Rank. Students who are included in the merit list could fill Tripura MBBS 2019 application form. Only the domicile aspirants are eligible register for Tripura MBBS/BDS admission. During the registration process, aspirants need to register themselves, provide their academic, communication and other details and pay the prescribed amount of application fee.

DME, Tripura will conduct the Tripura MBBS/BDS 2019 counselling in the online mode. The result for round two had been declared on July 31, 2019. The authority had released the counselling schedule of round two of Tripura MBBS counselling on July 18. The dates are mentioned in the table given above. Aspirants who were included in the merit list and filled the application form are eligible to participate for Tripura MBBS counselling 2019. While filling the admission form for each round, aspirants have to provide their choices of colleges and courses. Considering these preferences, Tripura MBBS state merit rank, seats availability, reservation policy, the admission to medical and dental colleges will be granted.
The second round of counselling of Tripura MBBS 2019 was conducted on July 15 to 19. Once the seats are allotted, the selected aspirants need to report at the respective colleges along with the relevant documents for verification. The last date to report at the allotted college was on or before August 3, 2019. The second round of Tripura MBBS/BDS counselling 2019 is being conducted to fill the remaining vacant seats left.
Tripura MBBS Eligibility Criteria 2019
Before applying for Tripura MBBS/BDS 2019 admission, candidates must go through the eligibility criteria set by the state. The basic Tripura MBBS eligibility criteria 2019 is mentioned below.
Candidates must be a citizen of India.
Aspirants must be of 17 years old at least as on December 31, 2019.
Students should not exceed 25 years in age as on May 5, 2019.
He/she must be a permanent resident of the state. Either a candidate or his/her parent should have resided for a period of at least 10 years prior to the date of release of NEET application form 2019
A candidate who is the child of either All India Service officers born in Tripura cadre or employees of Tripura state government posted out of the state will be eligible for Tripura MBBS/BDS 2019 admission.
Aspirants who are appearing in Class 12 examination from an institute/school/college in the state and are not a domicile of Tripura but their parents are working in the section of Tripura Government or Central Government for a period of three years are eligible for admission.
Students who are not a permanent resident of Tripura but children of ex-servicemen/defence personnel staying in Tripura for five years are also allowed to register for MBBS and BDS admissions.
General category applicants must be have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English can fill Tripura MBBS application form.
SC/ST/OBC and PH candidates must obtain an aggregate of 40% and 45% respectively in the above-mentioned subjects.
NEET cutoff 2019 must be secured to pass the entrance exam. For unreserved category, the qualifying percentile is 50 percentile, while for SC/ST/OBC aspirants, it is 40 percentile.
The application form of Tripura MBBS/BDS 2019 was released on July 15, 2019. As per the schedule released by the authority, eligible candidates could fill the application form till July 19, 2019. Candidates who fill the application form only will be included in the state merit list of Tripura MBBS 2019. The online registration must be done within the last date announced by the authority.
While registering, applicants need to enter their NEET 2019 details, personal, academic, contact and also fill their choices of colleges and courses, in which they wish to get admission. The details filled in the application form will be verified during the document verification session at DME. Therefore, it is advised to fill the Tripura MBBS application form 2019 carefully.

Tripura MBBS/BDS 2019 merit list for round 2 of counselling had been released on July 23. A link for the same is given above. The authority had released the state merit list on June 30. Earlier, the preliminary merit list was released on June 19, 2019. Based on the NEET 2019 result, the merit list of Tripura MBBS 2019 has been prepared. The merit list includes the NEET registration number, state merit rank, NEET AIR, category and other details of the candidates who are the permanent domicile of the state. Based on the Tripura MBBS state merit rank, students will be called for counselling procedure.
Aspirants registering for Tripura MBBS admission 2019 must note that there is no quota for OBC reservation in the state and such candidates will be included in the unreserved category.
From the total state quota seats in the Tripura MBBS participating institutes, 15% will be reserved for SC, while 30% will be reserved for ST candidates.

Yes, you are eligible to write NEET from UP, even though you want to take admission in a college of Delhi. The admission is taken on the basis of your marks and rank, so it does not matter from which state you have given the exam. But you won't get the benefit of state quota.
