Scoring 700 marks and above in NEET 2025 is an excellent score with chances of admission to almost every institute a candidate wants. A brief overview of the admission chances with 700 marks in NEET 2025 is provided below -
AIIMS Delhi and other AIIMS institutes are highly competitive, typically requiring ranks within the top 50–100 for General category candidates. With 700 marks, admission to AIIMS Delhi may be challenging, but have high chances in other AIIMS campuses (e.g., AIIMS Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, or Rishikesh)
JIPMER Puducherry and Karaikal admit candidates with ranks up to 200–300 for the General category. A score of 700 marks in NEET 2025 is likely to secure a seat in JIPMER.
Maulana Azad Medical College requires ranks within the top 100–150 for the General category under AIQ. Candidates can secure admission under state quotas or in other top Delhi colleges.
Colleges like Seth GS Medical College (Mumbai), BJ Medical College (Pune), and Government Medical College (Chandigarh) admit candidates with a score in the range of 700 marks.
State quota seats (85% of government college seats) have a lower NEET cutoff than AIQ seats, especially for reserved categories. A 700 score in NEET 2025 is enough for MBBS seats in government colleges across states like Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu
Private medical colleges and deemed universities have lower cutoffs than government colleges. With 700 marks, candidates can easily secure admission to top private institutions like Christian Medical College (CMC) Vellore, Kasturba Medical College (Manipal), or SRM Medical College (Chennai).
