Carrying the correct documents is mandatory for entry into the NEET 2026 exam hall. Missing even one essential document can result in being barred from the exam. All the important items that students should carry at their NEET exam centre 2026 are provided below.

Female candidates should wear light-colored clothes with short sleeves to ensure comfort and avoid delays during frisking procedures.
Candidates must avoid wearing any jewellery or accessories such as earrings, rings, chains, or bracelets to prevent security issues.
Avoid long dresses, fancy outfits, or clothes with heavy embroidery, as they may lead to extra checking at the NEET UG exam centre.
Candidates are advised to wear simple slippers or sandals instead of shoes, as shoes are generally not allowed inside the exam centre.
Male candidates should wear light, comfortable clothes with half sleeves to ensure smooth frisking and avoid unnecessary delays at entry.
Avoid clothes with heavy buttons, badges, or embroidery, as they may trigger security checks and cause inconvenience during verification.
Candidates should wear slippers or sandals instead of shoes, as shoes are generally not permitted inside the examination centre.
Candidates wearing religious attire must inform NTA during the application process to ensure smooth verification and avoid issues on exam day.
Such candidates should reach the examination centre early to allow sufficient time for proper security checks and verification procedures.
On the examination day, candidates need to report at their allotted NEET 2026 exam centres within the stipulated time. The reporting time is provided by the NTA in the NEET admit card 2026 and must be followed to reach the examination centre on time, as late entry may not be allowed.

Once candidates have entered the exam hall, there are certain guidelines they must follow.
Candidates must not open the NEET 2026 question paper until instructed by invigilators, as doing so may lead to strict disciplinary action.
Use only the pen provided at the NEET exam centre and fill answers on the official OMR sheet carefully as instructed.
Candidates should fill personal and exam details accurately on the NEET OMR sheet to avoid errors.
Engaging in cheating or unfair practices is strictly prohibited and can result in immediate disqualification from the examination.
Maintain complete silence inside the exam hall and follow all instructions given by invigilators to ensure a smooth examination process.
