    The NTA has released the data of total candidates in Re NEET 2026 which includes the number of registered, appeared and qualified candidates. The state with the highest number of qualified candidates is Uttar Pradesh followed by Maharashtra and Rajasthan.

    Uttar Pradesh experienced the highest number of candidates in terms of registrations, appearing and qualifying in NEET 2026. Maharashtra ranked second and Rajasthan stood in third position.     The knowledge of NEET state-wise result statistics is important for medical aspirants. The NEET counselling is conducted by the MCC for 15% All India Quota seats however, state authorities conduct counselling for 85% state quota seats. State quota plays an important role in the final admission. Admissions under the state quota seats depend highly on the number of qualified candidates competing within the state. This means, states with a higher number of qualified candidates witness tough competition for government medical colleges resulting in higher closing ranks.

    Rajasthan is consistently witnessing high qualification rates, which implies a larger number of candidates competing for the available MBBS seats 2026.
