    The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a crucial update for NEET UG 2025 aspirants regarding the NEET Aadhaar authentication. Candidates who did not provide their Aadhaar number during registration must needed to complete the NTA NEET Aadhaar authentication process by April 30, 2025, at 11:50 PM. Earlier, the NTA has stated that NTA Aadhaar authentication is not mandatory for NEET 2025. However, just a week before the NEET exam day, this email from NTA regarding the Aadhaar authentication for NEET 2025 has created a sense of uncertainty.     Many students have reported difficulties during the process of Aadhaar authentication for NEET 2025. The two primary issues which candidates are facing during Aadhaar card authentication for NEET 2025 are:

    1. Non-receipt of Aadhaar authentication link

    Several students have not received the NEET Aadhaar authentication link in their registered email, and with the deadline being April 30, this is causing anxiety for them. Such students who have used an ID card other than Aadhaar while filling the NEET application form 2025 are advised to check their spam or junk folder.

    2. Aadhaar authentication NEET 2025 failure

    Many students who have received the NEET 2025 aadhaar authentication link email are unable to complete their authentication process. This failure in NEET Aadhaar authentication link online is occurring due to discrepancies between the details provided in the NEET application and those in the Aadhaar database, such as mismatched names or dates of birth.

    In such cases, candidates are advised to visit the nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra to correct their details. Once updated, the enrollment ID will be valid for completing the NEET UG 2025 Aadhaar authentication.
