NEET counselling seat allotment: Key factors

The NEET seat allotment result is determined by several factors. The MCC considers the following key factors while allotting the seats.

NEET rank: The rank of a candidate significantly impacts the NEET UG seat allocation. Higher NEET scores and rank eventually lead to better chances of getting a seat in the medical or dental college.

Choices filled by the candidates: The NEET counselling seat allotment result is done based on choices filled by the candidates. Candidates must fill and lock the choices of courses and colleges carefully within the given dates.

Seat availability in the participating colleges: The total number of AIQ seats available in the participating colleges affects the seat allotment. Fewer seats means more competition and higher cutoff.
