In Telangana, candidates seeking admission under the management quota must have qualified in the NEET PG examination and other specific criteria.
Institutional Quota: IT can vary in meaning across different states and institutions. General it refers to seat allocated at the discretion of the institutions, potentially for candidates associated with the institution or its stakeholders. However in the context of Andhra Pradesh (AP) there is not a specific “institutional quota”. Instead AP has a “convenor quota”, which pertains to government seats allocated in private medical colleges.

INI-CET Marking Scheme :-

Total Questions: 200
Marking:
- +1 for correct answer
- -1/3 for incorrect answer
Subject-wise weightage (approximate):
- Pre-clinical (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry) – 15-20%
- Para-clinical (Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine) – 25-30%
- Clinical (Medicine, Surgery, OBGY, Pediatrics, etc.) – 50-60%

NEET PG Marking Scheme :-

Total Questions: 200
Marking:
- +4 for correct answer
- -1 for incorrect answer
Subject-wise weightage (approximate):
- Pre-clinical – 15-20%
- Para-clinical – 20-25%
- Clinical – 55-60%

I have been alloted a seat in Neet pg aiq stray round, and i dont want to take it. can i still participate in my state's 3rd round counselling which is yet to happen? or will i be excluded and de barred?

Hello,

If you've been allotted a seat in the NEET PG All India Quota (AIQ) stray vacancy round and choose not to accept it, consider the following:

Forfeiture of Security Deposit : Not joining the allotted seat will result in the loss of your security deposit.
Debarment from Future Exams : You will be barred from taking the NEET exam in the subsequent year.
Ineligibility for State Counselling : Data of candidates who have joined seats in Round 3 will be shared with state counselling authorities, and such candidates will be prohibited from participating in subsequent state counselling rounds.

Therefore, if you do not accept the seat allotted in the AIQ stray vacancy round, you will be ineligible to participate in your state's third round of counselling .

I took a DNB seat in 2022 neet pg counselling. I resigned my DNB course in 2023. Now, I'm planning to write neet pg 2025. Can I attend the 2025 counselling or else will I get debarred from attending it. I heard that I cannot take DNB seat again. If it so, can I take MD/MS seat?
