Factors behind the NEET 2025 registrations drop

The NEET 2025 total registration has seen a drop of over 1 lakh candidates. Some of the reasons behind this NEET 2025 registrations drop are as follows -

1. Limited number of seats

While the competition level of the NEET UG exam has increased with the increasing number of applicants, the total seats under the NEET UG exam has not increased to that extent. This limited number of seats has reduced the interest of students from the NEET UG exam and they are now looking for alternative career options.

2. No extension of NEET registration window

With no NEET registration window extension, many students who couldn’t register for the exam before the last date of NEET 2025 registration, couldn’t fill their NEET application form . The NEET 2025 registration last date was March 7. NTA generally extends the registration window of the NEET exam allowing more candidates to register. However, this year with no extension in the registration window, there has been a decline in total NEET 2025 registration.

Hello there,

For B.Sc. Anesthesia Technology , NEET or EAMCET is generally not required . Most colleges offering this course do not have entrance exams like NEET or EAMCET specifically for B.Sc. Anesthesia Technology.

However, you may need to fulfill some basic eligibility criteria, such as:

  1. Completion of 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the main subjects.

  2. Some institutions may have their own entrance exams or merit-based admissions.

  3. You will need to check the specific requirements of the college you're interested in.

So, NEET or EAMCET might not be mandatory for this course, but it's best to confirm with the particular institution you wish to apply to.

Hii

Yes you can wear bottle green plain tshirt but I want you to prefer non pocketable lower but Yes, you can wear trousers with two pockets on the NEET examination, provided they are simple and do not have any bulky features or zips.

Thanks

Hello Apurva,

If you have received marks only in Biology and belong to the SC category , the NEET exam evaluates your overall performance, which includes marks from all three subjects: Physics , Chemistry , and Biology . It is not possible to pass the exam with marks in only one subject.

Regarding your question about the minimum marks required to qualify for NEET as an SC category candidate, it varies each year depending on the difficulty level of the exam and the number of candidates appearing . However, on average, candidates from the SC category generally need around 120-150 marks out of 720 in the NEET exam to be considered for qualifying.

The cut-off marks for SC candidates may fluctuate yearly, but you should aim for a score higher than the general trend to secure a seat in government medical colleges. Always check the official updates for the exact cut-off after the exam.

Hi apurva

As 300 marks is qualifying marks for neet ug and the bio portion and if you score 360 marks in bioportion you can qualify but it is not good for admission in redeemed institutes. But as sc caste you can try your luck in state college if seats are not filled.

Thanks
