Hello Aspirant,

Qualifying NEET 2025 with 292 marks (scoring under the general category), you will not receive an admission to government medical colleges because general category cutoffs you face each year are higher, but you might receive admission via management quota to private colleges or deemed universities (and that also may differ depending on which category, home domicile state, and also each college cutoff options). Best to check your home state counselling authority and previous NEET overall cutoffs so that you can have more accurate or valid options.

Yes, sports quota exist for NEET admission in Delhi, but it is limited and specific.

Hello Aspirant,

No, as per current rules in India, you won't be able to get admissions into MBBS in India unless you qualify NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). NEET is essential for all medical admissions, whether you are taking admission in government universities, private universities, deemed universities, or whether they are NRI and management quota seats. However, here are two exceptions where NEET is not applicable:

  1. MBBS Aborad: you can make application for MBBS programme in other countries (e.g. Russia, Ukraine, Philippines, etc.) but, you have to qualify NEET to obtain eligibility certificate from Medical Council of India (MCI) to allow you practice in India after earning your degree.
  2. Other Medical Courses Without NEET: if you wish to go into a medical related field but you could not qualify NEET, here are some options: B.Sc. Nursing, BPT (Physiotherapy), B.Pharm (Pharmacy), B.Sc. in Paramedical Sciences

With your rank, I'd strongly suggest considering BDS or AYUSH courses where you'll have much better chances and lower fees. These offer excellent career prospects in healthcare. If you're determined about MBBS, focus on management quota admissions but be prepared for high fees.
