Hey Sailesh, as you mentioned of getting 61% you need not worry regarding that as according to the notification released vide March 2 by NTA, the 75 percent minimum is no longer a criteria for the students who have appeared for JEE Mains 2022. Also you have scored 150 marks which is a really good score, at this marks you can land up in a CRL rank of about 21145-16495, in the 98th percentile. See this article for more info: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile

At this rank you can secure a seat at HBTU Kanpur easily, as the opening and closing rank for HBTU 2021 for Round1 was 14586 - 23959 for Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), which is the best course there. So good luck for your counselling rounds, and hope you secure your most desired branch. All the Best!

Hello Aspirant,

Your rank will be around 5500-6000. Your KCET rank is calculated by taking 50 percent of your board marks and 50 percent of your KCET score. It is not possible to tell your exact rank. This prediction is based on previous year's information . As cutoff varies considering many factors like number of students appeared for the exam, toughness of the exam, performance of the students etc. You can use the below link to get information about KCET rank vs marks:

It depends upon the JEE Main and JEE Advance cut offs, If You manage to qualify the exam by achieving the cut off, You can apply for JOSAA Counselling. It should be noted the cut off for EWS/SC/ST/FEMALES/OBC category is lower than the general category

If you manage to qualify JEE Main Cutoff, You would be eligible for JEE Advance which is the intake exam for IITs as mentioned above.

However It is usually advised to fill the choices as per the preference of colleges and departments, for example CSE in NIT Trichy is your priority followed by CSE in NIT Warangal, you can fill CSE at NIT Trichy at serial number 1 and CSE at NIT Warangal at serial number 2 and so on and so forth. However to get any NIT, you must have qualified JEE Mains and to get any IIT, you must have qualifies JEE Advanced

But the previous cut offs of colleges should be taken in consideration, it is better to research over the cut off of colleges then make a preference list of colleges and fill accordingly

For the college preferences and the courses provided by these colleges and to know which colleges participate in the JOSAA counselling, please go to the below mentioned link: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/josaa-participating-institutes/amp

Hey!

As per my knowledge Btech is more demanding than Bsc as it not only gives you theoretical knowledge about the subject but also gives a practical experience of how to apply the knowledge in real life. And then you can do M.tech if you have god interest in any research topic. Otherwise you can directly go for MBA to enhance your business and management skills. Also, a work experience of 1-2 years before MBA gives a good opportunity to grab a good placement as you have work experience already.

Hope I answered your query, thankyou!
