The authorities have declared the JIPMER PG result 2019 in the form of merit list. JIPMER PG merit list 2019 for January session has been released on December 7, 2018. JIPMER, Puducherry has published a total of nine JIPMER PG 2019 merit lists inclusive of overall merit lists and category-wise lists including UR, OBC, SC, ST, Institute, PwD OPH, Sponsored and Foreign Nationals. The overall merit list of JIPMER PG 2019 contains the names of all the candidates who have appeared for the exam. The merit list mentions details like candidates’ Roll No., name, date of birth, correct response, incorrect response, total marks, percentile scores, category-wise rank and eligibility status. The inclusion in this merit list does not mean candidates are eligible for the JIPMER PG counselling process. The category-wise merit lists will include the names of those candidates which are eligible for the round one of counselling.

JIPMER, Puducherry will be releasing the JIPMER PG result 2019 via individual rank letters also. These rank letters will be issued in the second week of December after the authorities have made available the merit lists. JIPMER PG rank letters 2019 will be released for all the candidates who have appeared for the exam. Step 2: In the next step, candidates will be asked to enter their login credentials – User ID and Password.
Step 3: After the submission of details, candidates will be redirected to their rank letters cum JIPMER PG result 2019.

JIPMER PG Result 2019 – Tiebreaker Criteria
In case of a tie between two or more candidates who have scored same marks in JIPMER PG 2019, the tiebreaker criteria will be used. As per the tiebreaker criteria of JIPMER PG 2019, the following parameters will be used-
The negative marks of the candidates will be taken into account. Candidate who has submitted least number of responses will be given preference over the ones who have more number of responses.
If the tie still persists, then the age of the candidates will be considered. Those who are older in age will be given preference over the younger ones.
