JIPMER PG 2018 Cutoff: Minimum Percentile Requirement
As per the cutoff of JIPMER PG 2018, candidates must secure minimum percentile marks in JIPMER PG online entrance examination in order to qualify for the inclusion of their names in the merit list. Only those candidates whose name appear in the merit list of JIPMER PG 2018, will be called for counselling and further admission process in the order of their ranking in the merit list. It should be noted that those securing marks lesser than minimum required percentile, they will not be considered while preparation of the merit list and will be deemed disqualified for further JIPMER PG 2018 admission process.

JIPMER PG Cutoff 2018: Method of Resolving Ties
In a situation when two or more candidates secure exactly same percentile, then, to determine the merit rank of candidates, the ties will be resolved in the following order of preference:
Negative Marks - Candidates who will secure least negative marks will be placed in the highest order of merit list of JIPMER PG 2018, when resolving ties.
Total Aggregate Marks in the Qualifying exam - If two or more candidates have same number of negative marks, then total aggregate marks secured in MBBS qualifying degree will be considered to resolve a tie. Candidate with higher aggregate marks in the MBBS will be put second highest in the order of preference when resolving ties for deciding merit list ranks.
Age - If in case, the ties continue even after applying first two parameters, then candidates who will be senior in age will be given more preference and thus higher order in merit list compared to candidates younger in age.
Important Points about JIPMER PG 2018 Cutoff
Candidates who will qualify for counselling will be intimated through online mode only. No individual letters of invitation will be sent to selected candidates.
Any request for re-evaluation or re-checking of JIPMER PG entrance exam will be not be entertained by JIPMER, Puducherry under any circumstances.
Only those candidates who secure minimum percentile requirement as per JIPMER PG Cutoff 2018, will be considered for counselling and admission process.
Candidates who will secure lesser marks than minimum percentile requirement of JIPMER PG 2018 cutoff, will neither be included in the merit list, nor will they be intimated separately.

JIPMER PG 2018 is a single shift online computer based exam of 180 minutes. It will be conducted on November 19, 2017 for January session admissions. For January 2018 session, JIPMER will take admission for about 100 seats in 24 disciplines of MD/MS courses.
