The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) releases the BHU MBBS 2026 merit list in an online mode. The authority releases the BHU NEET merit list separately for each round. Candidates who will be included in the BHU NEET UG merit list 2026 will have to appear in the further counselling process. The BHU MBBS merit list NEET UG will be compiled based on the results of the NEET, preferences of the candidates, seats available in the college, and other factors. Through BHU NEET admission, 100 MBBS and 63 BDS seats will be granted. NEET cutoff percentile scores are required for aspirants to be included in the BHU MBBS merit list 2026. Those included on the list will be called for BHU MBBS counselling. In the table below, candidates can see the previous year's minimum NEET cutoff percentile.

The authority has set up four methods for determining eligibility in case of conflict between two or more candidates. These four tiebreakers are shown in the following table.
Tie-Breaking methods
Tiebreaker 1: Candidates with more marks in Biology will be given preference.
Tiebreaker 2: If there is still a tie, the aspirant who scored more marks in Chemistry will be given preference.
Tie breaker 3: In the unlikely event that the tie persists, then aspirants with a higher DOB will be given preference.
Tiebreaker 4: If none of the above three methods work, then the aspirant who has attempted the fewest wrong answers in NEET exam 2026 will be given preference.
