After the announcement of the results, the qualified candidates are eligible to participate in the NEET counselling process. The counselling of NEET 2022 for 15% of All India Quota (AIQ) seats, central/deemed universities, ESIC/AFMS institutes, AIIMS and JIPMER is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
The admission to the remaining 85% state quota seats from government MBBS/BDS colleges and all private colleges is done by the respective state counselling authorities. On the basis of choices of colleges filled, seats available, NEET rank, reservation criteria and others, the NEET seat allotment process is done.

Yes, a foreign student who has successfully finished their secondary education at the 10+2 level abroad is qualified to sit for the NEET exam; these students are classified as NRIs, overseas candidates, or international candidates.The following are the requirements for eligibility for such candidates:
You need to have completed your 10+2 exam with English and one of the required disciplines being either chemistry, biology, physics, or biotechnology.
In the 10+2 test, a minimum of 50% of total points are needed.
The rules of MCI and the relevant university/INSTITUTE will decide the equivalentity of the results and admission in colleges.
