Steps to Reset Re NEET City Allotment 2026 Password

• Go to the NEET 2026 Portal: Open the official NEET UG 2026 website, neet.nta.nic.in and click on “Candidate Login.”

• Click on Forgot Password: Find and select the “Forgot Password?” link below the login section.

• Select a Recovery Option: Choose one of the following methods:
  - Security Question: If candidates remember the security question and answer they set during NEET 2026 registration, this is the quickest method. Simply select the question, enter the correct answer, and they will be allowed to create a new password.
  
  - OTP via SMS: This option can be selected if candidates have access to the registered mobile number used while filling the NEET application form 2026. Students need to enter their NEET application number and date of birth, after which a one-time password (OTP) will be sent to the registered mobile number. Enter the OTP to verify the identity and proceed to reset your password.
  
  - Email Reset Link: If none of the above two methods work, candidates can recover their NEET 2026 password through the email reset link. A password reset link will be sent to the registered email ID. Open the email, click on the link, and follow the instructions to set a new password.

• Verify and Create New Password: Enter the required details (Application Number, Date of Birth, and Captcha), complete verification, and set a new password following NTA guidelines (including uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters).

• The password should be of minimum 8 characters

• There must be at least one uppercase letter (A - Z)

• There should be at least one lowercase letter (a - z)
