Go to the NEET 2026 official website, neet.nta.nic.in.
Log in using the NEET 2026 Application Number and Password
Click on the link provided for ‘Correction in the NEET UG Application Form’
Make the required correction in the editable fields
Review the changes carefully before submitting the form
Re-upload the documents such as signature, marksheet or certificates, if any
Submit the correction window form and download the NEET 2026 confirmation page for future reference.
The following details can be edited through the NEET correction window 2026.
Personal Details: Candidates can change the father’s and mother’s names along with their qualification. Any one of them can be changed.
Educational Qualifications: Marksheet, certificate related to board name, year of passing, and roll numbers for Class 10, and 12 can be edited.
Category & Sub-Category/PwD: Changes in category status can be done. However, reserved candidates need to upload the valid category certificate issued by the competent authority.
Exam City and Medium: Candidates can change the NEET 2026 exam cities and the language of the exam question paper.
Signature: Documents such as signature can be re-uploaded during the correction window.
Once submitted, candidates will not be allowed to edit or modify the following details during the NEET correction window.
Registered mobile number and email ID: No change can be made in the same
Aadhaar, identity details: The identity proofs such as Aadhaar number cannot be edited.
Biometric data: Fingerprints and thumb impressions cannot be changed once submitted.
Captured live photograph: The live photo capture feature which needs to be captured during the application form cannot be modified.
The NEET UG correction window 2026 is open for a certain period of time. Once the window is closed, no such final facility is provided to the candidates.
Candidates can make corrections in the editable fields only. Fields such as registered mobile number, email ID, identity details, biometric data and others cannot be changed.
