    What is allowed in NEET 2026: Male candidates can wear simple and light coloured clothing.     What is banned in NEET 2026: Male candidates are advised not to wear full sleeve shirts or t-shirts. Heavy clothing such as cargos, track pants or designer outfits must be avoided as they take enough time for proper frisking. Candidates must refrain from wearing such clothes which are not mentioned in the NEET information bulletin as they can create inconvenience and even restrict candidates to appear in the entrance test.

    NEET footwear rules: As per the NEET dress code for male, candidates must wear open footwear such as slippers and sandals with thin soles. They must avoid wearing boots or any kind of shoes which are covered.
