    NEET UG 2026 Paper Leak LIVE: NTA cancels May 3 exam; accused arrested, fresh dates soon, re-NEET

    The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially cancelled the NEET UG 2026 exam conducted on May 3 following alleged paper leak inputs shared by investigative agencies. The latest development comes after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) took custody of accused individuals linked to the alleged NEET 2026 paper leak case. Around 22.79 lakh aspirants are now waiting for fresh exam dates, revised admit card details and clarity on the re-NEET process. NTA has confirmed that candidates will not have to register again for the re-examination.

    On the day of the exam, along with the neet nta nic in admit card 2025 candidates must carry the following documents to the NEET exam centre:

    • Printed copy of NEET UG 2025 admit card

    • Passport size photograph (same as uploaded in the NEET application form)

    • Valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar card, voter ID, passport, PAN card or Driving License)

    • PwD certificate (If applicable)

    NEET 2025 exam day guidelines

    • Reporting time: Arrive at the NEET exam centre at least 1.5 hours before the time mentioned on the admit card for frisking and verification.

    • Admit card & ID proof: Candidates must carry a printed NEET admit card and a valid photo ID (like Aadhaar card, PAN card).

    • Dress code: NTA is very strict for the dress code. Candidates need follow NTA’s prescribed NEET dress code and avoid wearing full sleeves, shoes, jewellery and other prohibited clothes.

    • Prohibited items: Mobile phones, calculators, watches, or any electronic devices are not allowed inside the NEET exam centre. Candidates must not carry any of such prohibited items with them.

    • Frisking & verification: Candidates need to cooperate with staff during frisking and identity verification.
