To be eligible for the Telangana NEET MDS counselling 2026, students need to fulfil the following criterias -
Qualify in NEET MDS 2026 with the prescribed NEET MDS 2026 cutoff.
Have completed BDS from a recognised dental institution in Telangana.
Must hold a permanent registration with DCI/State Dental Council.
Must have completed internship on or before the last date prescribed by DCI
The counselling process of Telangana NEET MDS 2026 includes the registration, verification of documents, merit list publication, choice filling, seat allotment, reporting and joining. The complete Telangana NEET MDS 2026 counselling process is provided below.
Candidates need to open the official registration portal and enter their NEET MDS 2026 details along with personal, academic, and category information carefully.
Once the registration details are filled, candidates need to pay the registration fee for Telangana NEET MDS counselling 2026. The registration fee is Rs.7000 for UR and OBC category, while Rs.5,500 for SC/ST candidates.
After paying the registration fee, candidates need to upload the required documents for Telangana NEET MDS counselling 2026. The list of documents required is as following -
Passport-size photograph
NEET MDS 2026 rank card
BDS degree/ Provisional certificate
Aadhaar card
BDS final year certificate
Internship completion certificate
Permanent Dental Council registration certificate
Category certificate (If applicable)
Service certificate (For in-service candidates)
After the submission of documents, the KNRUHS officials will verify the uploaded certificates. Candidate’s eligibility, local status, internship, category, and Dental council registration is checked.
Once the certificates are verified by the counselling authority, a Telangana NEET MDS merit list 2026 is released. This merit list is used for choice filling during counselling and seat allotment.
Candidates who are listed in the merit list are eligible for the choice filling process. Candidates can fill their choice of colleges as per their preference and also select their specialisation.
Based on the merit list position, choices filled, available seats, and reservation policies, the seat allotment result is declared by the counselling authority. Candidates who get allotted a seat need to report at their respective allotted college and complete their admission.
