FMGE December 2025 eligibility criteria

The NBE releases the FMGE eligibility criteria along with the information brochure. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility requirements are eligible to fill the application form for FMGE December 2025.

• A candidate must be an Indian citizen or should be an Overseas Citizen of India.

• The aspirant should hold a primary medical qualification from a recognized institute, which is confirmed by the Indian Embassy situated in that country.

• The final exam result of the said primary medical qualification should have been declared.

• Candidates should have a proof of the said primary medical qualification as they have qualified it.

• The aspirant should have obtained an “Eligibility certificate” from the National Medical Commission.

Note: Candidates who have completed undergraduate and postgraduate medical degrees from Australia/Canada/New Zealand/United Kingdom/United States of America need not to qualify the screening test.

FMGE exam December 2025 application form

The NBE releases the application form for FMGE 2025 in online mode. The FMGE application form involves several steps. Check the FMGE 2025 December session application form steps are as follows:

Registration: Medical graduates are required to register for FMGE 2025 exam online. Fill all the basic information asked and create a user ID and password to login for further stages of the application process.

Filling up application form: After the registration, candidates need to login and fill in details such as personal details, academic details, correspondence and permanent address, primary qualification, eligibility certificate and others.

Uploading of scanned documents: in this step, candidates are required to to upload the necessary documents in the prescribed format provided by the authority. The list of documents includes a photograph, scanned signature, a thumb impression, proof of citizenship, and eligibility certificate.

Choosing an exam city: Students must select their preferred city for the screening test. Candidates can select the FMGE 2025 exam centres from the list of exam cities as provided by the authority in the information brochure. There is no facility to change the FMGE 2025 exam centres later.

Fee payment: After the successful completion ofthe FMGE application form 2025, candidates are required to pay the application fee through the online mode.

Printout of the confirmation page: Candidates who successfully filled out their application forms and fee payment should take a printout of the filled application form for future reference, which may be required in later stages of the FMGE 2025 exam.

FMGE December 2025 admit card

The FMGE 2025 admit cards for the December session will be issued online at natboard.edu.in on January 14, 2026. Candidates can download the admit card of FMGE 2025 on the official website. After downloading the FMGE exam admit card 2025, students will have to affix their recent passport-size photograph to it. The admit card of FMGE 2025 December session includes candidate’s name, application number, roll number, time and date of examination, exam centre, reporting time and exam day instructions.

A total of 300 MCQs will be asked in English language only and students will be given 150 minutes to complete the FMGE question papers. FMGE syllabus 2025

The authority releases the syllabus of FMGE on the official website. The FMGE syllabus include subjects approved as per the Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by the Medical Council of India with prior approval of the Government of India. The syllabus of FMGE 2025 includes pre and para-clinical subjects and clinical subjects. The important topics include Cardiology and Respiratory Medicine, Gastroenterology and Endocrinology, Infectious Diseases, Pharma and Drug Classes, Pathology and Microbiology Techniques, Medical Ethics and Forensic Medicine and others.

FMGE December 2025 result

The FMGE result is announced by the NBE on the official website. Candidates can download the FMGE result 2025 December session by logging in using the user ID and password. The FMGE 2024 results have been released online in PDF format. After the result announcement, the qualified candidates need to appear for the “in-person” verification to obtain their FMGE 2025 pass certificate.
