    The National Testing Agency conducts the NEET UG exam 2026 in offline mode using pen and paper. One of the common doubts most candidates have is, ‘Is pen allowed in NEET exam 2026? According to the NTA NEET exam day guidelines, candidates are not allowed to carry their own pen. At the NEET exam centre, the invigilator distributes the ballpoint pen to all the candidates provided by NTA.

    Students have also complained about technical issues on the website. The agency clarified that the bank account verification facility, available after logging in through two-factor authentication, was introduced to streamline the refund process and ensure convenience for students.

    "Around 100,000 students have already downloaded their Admit Cards. The functionality of verifying your Bank Account details for refund, after login with 2 factor authentication is in the interest of students only, " NTA said on X account.

    A student posted on X account and said: "Your website isn't working . I can't access my account .your fee refund verification portal isn't working .you take crores of exam fees from student to build an infrastructure which supposed to  transparent , ensure of high security etc. Where did all the money spend?"

    NTA has assured students that technical teams are working to ensure that students can download the admit card before the exam.
