As per the latest update, the re NEET 2026 exam timing will be from 2 PM to 5:15 PM, which is providing an extra 15 minutes to complete the exam.     NEET 2026 Exam Timing

    The NTA will conduct the NEET entrance examination from 2 PM to 5:15 PM in pen and paper mode. The exam is scheduled to be held on June 21, 2026 across India and abroad. As per the NEET exam pattern, the exam will feature 180 multiple choice questions and students will be given 3 hours to solve the paper. It must be noted that candidates should complete their test paper within the specified time as no extra time will be offered to them. The NEET 2026 reporting time plays a crucial role as it allows the mandatory security procedures including biometric verification, document check and other entry checks. Students must adhere to the NEET 2026 exam timings as no entry will be allowed after the gate closing which is 1:30 PM.

    NEET 2026 Exam Timing: Complete Reporting Schedule

    Candidates must reach the exam centre as per time specified by the conducting authority. Therefore, they must leave the home early to avoid last minute hassle and confusion.

    NEET 2026 reporting time

    Candidates will be required to reach the exam centre at 11 AM. The NEET exam centre opens 3 hours before the exam starts. Aspirants have to undergo security checks, document verification and other formalities. So reaching the exam centre at the specified time will result in smooth and stress free entry.

    Last entry to the exam centre

    Candidates will be allowed to enter the exam centre till 1:30 PM. Once the gate closes, there will be no entry to the students. It must be noted that even one minute delay leads to denial of entry to the exam centre. NEET late entry is not allowed under any circumstances.

    NEET 2026 exam start time

    As per the NEET exam pattern, the test officially commences at 2 PM all over India. Students will begin to fill in their answers in the NEET OMR sheet. The exam will be conducted in offline mode for a duration of 3 hours 15 minutes.

    NEET Exam 2026 end time

    The NEET exam end time is 5:15 PM. Students must note that no extra time will be given to complete the question paper. Hence, aspirants must solve the NEET exam paper within the given schedule.

    NEET Exam Timing 2026: Mandatory Documents to Carry

    Candidates will be required to carry the mandatory NEET documents to the exam hall on the day of exam. These documents play a crucial role to prevent entry issues and last minute hassle.

    • A coloured printed copy of NEET admit card with passport size photograph affix in the provided space

    • One extra passport size photograph (to be pasted in the attendance sheet)

    • One postcard size photograph (4’’X6’’) (to be pasted on the Proforma)

    • A valid government recognised photo ID card

    • PwBD certificate (if any)
